Phumla

Phumla, “a place of rest,” is located on a quiet lane in the upper part of the village, a 15-minute walk from the ocean or river ferry. This single-storied open plan home accommodates eight individuals with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Sun-worshippers and their children can avail themselves of the beautiful fenced yard that surrounds swimming pool, house, and parking area. An elevated patio overlooks the pool area providing outdoor space for meals or sun-downers.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with gas stove,  for all guests and includes an informal dinette area, great for coffee or small meals. Multiple windows provide ample light and views of the back garden, bar area backdrops living room. Outdoor amenities include an elevated fire ring, Weber braai replete with Manchurian griddle, table and chairs. The setting is ideal for morning breakfasts shaded by overhanging shrubbery, enlivened by singing birds, and spotlighted by night for outdoor jocularity.

Maureen, our housekeeper/caretaker, is included in all bookings and will provide housekeeping, linen/laundry services, and information about the community in a courteous and respectful manner, all of which will enhance your Phumla experience.

DSTV, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests must bring their own beach & swimming towels.
