The waters below are often alive with feeding seabirds. Watch for Cape Gannets plunging into the sea like feathered missiles, terns skimming the surface, and cormorants diving beneath the waves. These birds often gather where shoals of sardines, anchovies, or other baitfish are concentrated. Their presence can be a clue that larger predators such as dolphins, sharks, and game fish are also nearby.
