The Cobbles

The Cobbles is a family-friendly beach house on the Wild Coast, where the gentle rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the Eastern Cape create the perfect setting for a memorable seaside escape. Located just steps from the untouched shoreline, this recently renovated cottage blends timeless charm with modern comforts. It is positioned closer to the ocean than most, offering uninterrupted panoramic views and the soothing sound of waves breaking just beyond the windows.

The cottage retains its original character, with recently restored wooden floors that bring warmth and texture to the space. It can accommodate 10 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, and the fourth bedroom has 3 single beds. The first 3 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers, while the guest bathroom has a bath and shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a centrally located dining table with chairs. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy seating. There is a Smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi.

One of the standout features is the spacious undercover patio with a built-in braai, an ideal space for long, lazy lunches, quiet afternoons with a book, and relaxed sundowners. Mornings begin with the spectacular sight of the sun rising over the Indian Ocean, as soft pinks, oranges, and golds light up the sky. It’s not uncommon to see dolphins playing in the waves while you enjoy your coffee on the patio.
