DIRECTIONS

Start on Main Road opposite the Municipal buildings
Look for the Bush Pig Events Bar sign and the slip road leading to the
Bush Pig. Just beyond the slip road is the Kei Country Walks start sign
and a sign that says, “Path to the Cross”. It wanders gently enough at
first and then becomes increasingly steep. However, it is well within
the capabilities of a reasonably fit person if taken slowly.

  • Go down the other side of the dune to Lover’s Lane

From Lover’s Lane there are various ways to get back to your car along
the beach, along the river mouth or combine with the Lover’s Lane walk.
